 William Lyle was born on Saturday, 14th April, 1984, in Irvine, North Ayrshire. The 5' 10 (10st 7lbs) forward joined Dick Campbell's Thistle for a trial period in July, 2005, having most recently been with Ayr United. Aged 21, he made his only appearance on Saturday, 16th July, 2005, in a 4-0 friendly defeat away to Brechin City. There were no goals for Willie in his one-off appearance for Thistle. His club-list included Ayr United, Partick Thistle, Raith Rovers, Stranraer, Stenhousemuir and Auchinleck Talbot. |
