Bio Extra

Strong midfielder or centre-half who was signed from Queen's Park. Showed his better form playing in defence although he played most of his games in midfield unconvincingly, showing the poverty of the team at the time. Never able to make the transition he moved to Dumbarton at the end of the season.

Bio Extra

Nephew of Thistle and Celtic legend, Bertie Auld. A fitter to trade, Willie emigrated to Australia in his late 20s. He died tragically of a heart attack in Canada, aged just 34.
