Historian's note: We have an unqualified side note of his previous club being "Saltcoats". According to BM, Saltcoats Victoria (seniors) existed 1887-1897 and Saltcoats Victoria (juniors) didn't get going 'til 1911. BM has a minor candidate in Saltcoats Springvale, but has them noted as existing only in 1899 and 1900. At the moment, no club connection has been made; if anyone can help with this query then please do get in touch →
