William Fraser was born in Glasgow, although we've been unable to establish a date as of yet. * The 5' 8½ (11st 0lbs) forward signed for George Easton's Thistle on Tuesday, 1st June, 1926, having most recently been with Ashfield. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 14th August, 1926, in a 1-1 draw away to Falkirk in the SFL First Division. William scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 28th August, 1926, in a 2-1 defeat away to Rangers in the SFL First Division. He scored the last of his 22 goals on Saturday, 24th January, 1931, in a 2-0 win away to East Fife in the SFL First Division. That turned out to be his last game for Thistle, having appeared as a Jag on 73 occasions. His club-list included Ashfield and Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when William died. *
