Thomas Dodd Boyce was born on Wednesday, 23rd August, 1905, in Edinburgh.

The goalkeeper signed for Thistle in September, 1935, having most recently been with Bo'ness.

Aged 30, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 14th December, 1935, in a 5-3 defeat away to Motherwell in the SFL First Division.

There were no clean-sheets for Tommy during his spell with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 25th April, 1936, in a 3-1 defeat at home to Celtic in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions.

His club-list included Ardrossan Winton Rovers, St Mirren, Southend United, Clydebank FC, Bristol Rovers, Leith Athletic, East Fife, Bo'ness, Partick Thistle and King's Park.

Tommy died on Thursday, 11th April, 1991, in Dunfermline, Fife, aged 85.
