![]() Thomas Whitford Dickson was born on Friday, 11th June, 1909, in Glasgow. The forward signed for Donald Turner's Thistle on Wednesday, 10th August, 1932, having most recently been with Cork. Aged 23, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 20th August, 1932, in a 2-1 defeat away to St Johnstone in the SFL First Division. Tom scored his first goal for Thistle on Wednesday, 24th August, 1932, in a 2-1 win away to Celtic in the SFL First Division. He scored his second and final goal for the club on Saturday, 10th September, 1932, in a 3-2 defeat at home to Clyde in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for Thistle on Saturday, 6th May, 1933, in a 2-0 defeat away to Rangers in the Glasgow Charity Cup, having appeared as a Jag on 12 occasions. His club-list included Shettleston Juniors, Dunfermline Athletic, Fordsons, Leicester City, Portadown, Partick Thistle, Cowdenbeath, West Ham United and Dartford. Tom died in 1996, in Glasgow, aged 86 or 87. *
