Thomas Carson was born on Thursday, 26th March, 1959, in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire. The goalkeeper temporarily transferred to Billy Lamont's Thistle in August, 1987, from his parent club, Dundee. Aged 28, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 22nd August, 1987, in a 2-0 win away to Clydebank in the SFL First Division. In doing so, Tom joined the goalies' clean-sheet debutant's club. He kept his second and last clean-sheet on Saturday, 19th September, 1987, in a 0-0 draw away to Queen of the South in the SFL First Division. That was actually the last of his 6 games for the club. Tom's club-list included Vale of Leven, Dumbarton, Dundee, Hibernian, Partick Thistle, Queen of the South, Dunfermline Athletic, Ipswich Town and Raith Rovers. |
