Thomas Murray was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. *

The defender signed for George Easton's Thistle on Friday, 13th November, 1908, having most recently been with Maryhill.

He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 14th November, 1908, in a 6-0 defeat at home to Airdrieonians in the SFL First Division.

There were no goals for Thomas during his time with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Wednesday, 28th April, 1909, in a 1-0 defeat away to Heart of Midlothian in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 22 occasions.

His club-list included Maryhill, Partick Thistle, Southend United, Portsmouth, Airdrieonians and Motherwell.
