Thomas Houston Dunsmore was born on Friday, 4th November, 1887, in Cumnock, East Ayrshire.

The 5' 8 (12st 0lbs) defender signed for George Easton's Thistle on Wednesday, 4th May, 1910, having most recently been with Lanemark.

Aged 22, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 4th May, 1910, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Clyde in the Glasgow Charity Cup.

There were no goals for Thomas during his time with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 4th April, 1914, in a 1-1 draw away to Nithsdale Wanderers in a Benefit match, having appeared as a Jag on 40 occasions.

His club-list included Lanemark, Partick Thistle, Dunfermline Athletic, Albion Rovers and Armadale.

Thomas died on Saturday, 11th July, 1959, in Bridgeton, Glasgow, aged 71.

Bio Extra

Son of Daniel & Annie Dunsmore (née Houston). Was rgistered with Dunfermline Athletic during the war years and had a spell with Albion Rovers in 1916-17. Surfaced as an Armadale player in August 1920. Married Elizabeth Dickson. Was a halls caretaker in his later years.
