Terry Ablade |
Terry Ablade was born on Friday, 12th October, 2001, in Accra. The 5' 11 (11st 11lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Kris Doolan's Thistle on Friday, 23rd August, 2024, from his parent club, Fulham. Aged 22, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 24th August, 2024, in a 2-1 defeat away to Falkirk in the SPFL Championship. That day, Terry became a member of our scoring debutant's club. His club-list includes Jazz, Fulham, Wimbledon, Carlisle United and Partick Thistle. He's contracted at Firhill until May, 2025. |
Born in Accra, Ghana, to Ghanaian parents, Terry moved to Finland when he was seven years old. His father, Seth Ablade, played and managed professionally in Finland. Described as a pacy striker, he began his career with FC Jazz in Finland's 3rd tier, aged just 16. The youngster notched 4 league goals in 24 appearances for Jazz over 2 seasons. In July 2018, he moved to English club Fulham, signing his first two-year professional contract with the club a year later. On 7 January 2022, he signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal with Fulham, before joining League One club AFC Wimbledon on loan until the end of the season. He departed the parent club for a second loan spell in August 2023, joining Carlisle United but, in November 2023 he suffered an injury, hampering progress for a number of months. In August 2024, the 22-year-old signed a season-long loan deal with Partick Thistle and became a scoring debutant within 24 hours, although, sadly, it wasn't enough to prevent a 2-1 league loss at Falkirk. |
