 Stuart Ayton was born on Sunday, 19th October, 1975, in Glasgow. The 5' 8 (10st 12lbs) forward signed for John Lambie's Thistle on Friday, 1st July, 1994, having most recently been with Rangers. Aged 18, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 2nd August, 1994, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Glentoran. That day, Stuart became a member of our scoring debutant's club. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 10th May, 1997, in a 2-0 defeat away to St Mirren in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 17 occasions. Stuart's club-list included Rangers, Partick Thistle and Rutherglen Glencairn. |
 Stuart was signed by Thistle following a free transfer from Rangers and made his Thistle debut against his old club at Ibrox on the last day of the 1994/95 season. He appeared for Thistle against Linz in the lntertoto Cup and spent the next couple seasons on the fringes of the Thistle first team before being handed a free transfer. Was last seen playing for Rutherglen Glencairn. |
