![]() Stephen James Murray was born on Monday, 18th April, 1983, in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire. The 5' 4 (10st 4lbs) midfielder signed for Ian McCall's Thistle on Tuesday, 19th June, 2007, having most recently been with Kilmarnock. Aged 24, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 11th July, 2007, in a 2-0 friendly defeat away to Montrose. Stevie scored his only goal for Thistle on Wednesday, 8th August, 2007, in a 2-1 win at home to Airdrie United in the League Cup. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 26th April, 2008, in a 3-0 defeat at home to Greenock Morton in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 47 occasions. At December, 2019, Stevie's club-list included Kilmarnock, Queen of the South, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton, Stenhousemuir and BSC Glasgow. |
