Steven Lennon was born on Wednesday, 20th January, 1988, in Irvine, North Ayrshire. The 5' 8 (10st 0lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Ian McCall's Thistle on Friday, 15th August, 2008, from his parent club, Rangers. Aged 20, he made his debut appearance on Sunday, 17th August, 2008, in a 2-0 defeat away to Queen of the South in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Steven during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Tuesday, 30th December, 2008, in a 2-0 defeat away to Greenock Morton in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 10 occasions. Steven's club-list included Rangers, Partick Thistle, Lincoln City, Dundalk, Newport County, Fram, Ulf, Hafnarfjarðar and Þróttur Reykjavík. |

Mathematically it was all over after this defeat. Thistle had most of the chances but little in the way of luck and it was Airdrie who scored in added time. Looking obviously off-side ex-trialist Lynch (remember him?) tapped in a cross from a yard. A cruel last laugh. |
