Steven McMahon was born on Wednesday, 22nd April, 1970, in Glasgow.

The 6' 4 (14st 3lbs) defender signed for Murdo MacLeod's Thistle on a short term basis on Tuesday, 9th January, 1996, having most recently been with Foshan.

Aged 25, he made his only appearance on Tuesday, 9th January, 1996, in a 3-0 defeat at home to Falkirk in the SFL Premier Division.

There were no goals for Steve in his one-off appearance for Thistle.

Steve's club-list included Ferguslie United, Swansea City, Carlisle United, Cowdenbeath, Foshan, Partick Thistle, Darlington and Clydebank.
