 Steel (forename unknown) was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward appeared for Thistle in February, 1885. He made his only known appearance on Saturday, 21st February, 1885, in a 6-1 friendly defeat away to Hibernians. There were no goals for Steel in his only known appearance for Thistle. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when Steel died. *
