 Scott Douglas McDonald was born on Sunday, 21st August, 1983, in Melbourne. The 5' 8 (12st 3lbs) forward signed for Gary Caldwell's Thistle on Friday, 15th February, 2019, having most recently been with Dundee United. Aged 35, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 16th February, 2019, in a 2-0 win away to Alloa Athletic in the SPFL Championship. That day, Scott made some history by becoming the oldest known member of our scoring debutant's club. He scored the last of his 7 goals on Saturday, 4th May, 2019, in a 3-0 win away to Queen of the South in the SPFL Championship. That turned out to be his last game for the club, having appeared as a Jag on 13 occasions. Scott's club-list included Gippsland Falcons, Casey Comets, Southampton, Huddersfield Town, Bournemouth, Wimbledon, Motherwell, Celtic, Middlesbrough, Millwall, Dundee United, Partick Thistle, Western United, Brisbane Roar, Western Sydney Wanderers and Gold Coast Knights. |
