● Scott Harvie, 1992 (HA)

born in Scotland

Scott Smith Harvie was born on Friday, 22nd November, 1968, in Glasgow.

The 5' 7½ (11st 8lbs) defender signed for John Lambie's Thistle in August, 1991, having most recently been with Coleraine.

Aged 22, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 1st October, 1991, in a 3-2 win (aet) away to Cowdenbeath in the Challenge Cup.

There were no goals for Scott during his time with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 25th July, 1992, in a 0-0 friendly draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, having appeared as a Jag on 11 occasions.

Scott's club-list included Eastercraigs, Rothes, Aberdeen, Coleraine, Partick Thistle, St Mirren, Stranraer and Arthurlie.

Bio Extra

Signed from Aberdeen early in season 91/92, Harvie spent a couple of seasons at Firhill on the fringe of the first team. Moved to St Mirren after being freed by Thistle where, unfortunately, a couple of very nasty iniuries signalled the end of his career.
