| Scott Chaplain |
 Scott Chaplain was born on Saturday, 10th September, 1983, in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire. The 5' 10 (11st 7lbs) midfielder signed for Ian McCall's Thistle on Friday, 8th June, 2007, (having played as a trialist 2 years earlier) having most recently been with Albion Rovers. Aged 21, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 16th July, 2005, in a 4-0 friendly defeat away to Brechin City. Scott scored his first goal for Thistle on Tuesday, 17th July, 2007, in a 2-2 friendly draw away to Stenhousemuir. He scored the last of his 11 goals on Saturday, 24th January, 2009, in a 2-2 draw away to Queen of the South in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 2nd May, 2009, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Airdrie United in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 91 occasions. Scott's club-list included Rangers, Ayr United, Albion Rovers, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton and Annan Athletic. |
