Scott Robert Boyd was born on Wednesday, 4th June, 1986, in Bangour, West Lothian.

The 6' 2 (11st 11lbs) defender temporarily transferred to Dick Campbell's Thistle on Tuesday, 31st January, 2006, from his parent club, Livingston.

Aged 19, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 4th February, 2006, in a 2-2 draw away to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Cup.

Scott scored his first goal for Thistle on Thursday, 20th July, 2006, in a 3-1 friendly win away to Montrose.

He scored his second and final goal for the club on Tuesday, 8th August, 2006, in a 3-1 win away to Dundee in the League Cup.

He played his last game for Thistle on Saturday, 28th July, 2007, in a 1-0 friendly defeat away to Queen's Park, having appeared as a Jag on 66 occasions.
