![]() Sandy George Hodge was born on Saturday, 4th October, 1980, in Lanark, South Lanarkshire. The 6' 3 (13st 3lbs) defender first appeared for John Lambie's Thistle as a trialist in July, 1999, having most recently been with Hamilton Academical. Aged 18, he made his debut appearance on Sunday, 18th July, 1999, in a 1-0 neutral-venue defeat against St Johnstone in the Motorola Cup . Sandy scored his only goal for Thistle on Tuesday, 21st March, 2006, in a 2-1 win away to Raith Rovers in the SFL Second Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 14th April, 2007, in a 2-1 win at home to Dundee in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 27 occasions. Sandy's club-list included Queen of the South, Stranraer, Hamilton Academical, Partick Thistle, Alloa Athletic and Cowdenbeath. |
