Ryan McCann was born on Monday, 21st September, 1981, in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire. The 5' 11 (11st 1lbs) midfielder joined Dick Campbell's Thistle for a trial period in July, 2006, having most recently been with St Johnstone. Aged 24, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 25th July, 2006, in a 2-1 friendly win away to St Mirren. There were no goals for Ryan during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2006, in a 2-2 draw at home to Celtic XI in a Benefit match, having appeared as a Jag on 4 occasions. Ryan's club-list included Celtic, St Johnstone, Hartlepool United, Partick Thistle, Clyde, Bohemians, Queen of the South, Morecambe, Airdrie United, Ayr United, Stockport County, Einherji, Peterhead and Pollok. |
