Russell William Huggon was born on Saturday, 20th October, 1979, in Maple Ridge, British Columbia.

The 5' 8 (10st 9lbs) midfielder temporarily transferred to John Lambie's Thistle on Friday, 31st March, 2000, from his parent club, Hibernian.
