● Ross Fleming, 2017 (SRT)

born in Scotland

Ross James Fleming was born on Monday, 9th August, 1999, in Kilbirnie, North Ayrshire.

The defender signed for Alan Archibald's Thistle on Thursday, 19th May, 2016, having most recently been with Partick Thistle U-17.

Aged 17, he made his debut appearance on Sunday, 21st May, 2017, in a 6-0 defeat at home to Aberdeen in the SPFL Premiership.

There were no goals for Ross during his time with Thistle.

He played his second and last game for the club on Tuesday, 11th July, 2017, in a 2-1 friendly defeat away to Dumbarton.

Ross's club-list included only Partick Thistle.

Bio Extra

Ross had his first taste of Development League football towards the end of the 2015/16 season, before establishing himself as the first choice Development team left back in 2016-17. With a cultured left foot, Ross proved a dependable full back with a wicked cross which caused defences problems time and time again. His first-team debut in May 2017 was verging on criminal, with the disgracefully disinterested David Amoo (being playing out of position at full-back) having to be hauled off after 30 minutes of an end-of-season League game at home to Aberdeen in which Thistle were 4 down after just 26 minutes play. Poor Ross probably still has the mental scars of the 6-0 defeat and the chorus of boos which reverberated around Firhill. He featured just once more for the first team a couple of months later in a pre-season loss at Dumbarton, but that was that. He parted ways with the club in the summer of 2018 and seems to have given up the game.
