![]() Ronald Coleman Hume was born in 1944, in Glasgow. * The 5' 6 (10st 0lbs) forward signed for Willie Thornton's Thistle on Tuesday, 20th August, 1963, having most recently been with Airdrieonians. Aged 18 or 19, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 7th September, 1963, in a 3-2 defeat away to Third Lanark in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Ronnie during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Monday, 16th September, 1963, in a 4-1 win away to Glentoran in the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions. Ronnie's club-list included Campsie Black Watch, Airdrieonians, Partick Thistle, Motherwell, Highlands Park and Germiston Callies.
