Bio Extra

Picked up on a free transfer from Dunfermline Athletic, Roddy more the repaid the faith shown in him by John Lambie. Netted on his debut against Albion Rovers, the 11th goal of an 11-1 victory, and finished the season with a further 14 goals as Thistle completed one of John Lambie's famous escape acts. He more than did his fair share the following season although an eye injury did restrict his appearances. Left Thistle in the middle of the Intertoto Cup campaign to rejoin St Johnstone in a swap deal that saw Harry Curran move to Firhill.
