 Peter Collins was born in Glasgow, although we've been unable to establish a date as of yet. * The 6' 0 (11st 12lbs) defender signed for David Meiklejohn's Thistle on Thursday, 24th February, 1949, having most recently been with St Roch's. He made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 3rd May, 1950, in a 4-0 defeat away to Rangers in the Glasgow Charity Cup. There were no goals for Peter during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Monday, 5th May, 1958, in a 2-1 defeat at home to Rangers in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 55 occasions. Peter's club-list included Arsenal, St Roch's and Partick Thistle.
