Paul James Tosh was born on Thursday, 18th October, 1973, in Arbroath, Angus.

The 6' 1 (11st 8lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Tommy Bryce's Thistle on Friday, 13th November, 1998, from his parent club, Hibernian.

Aged 25, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 14th November, 1998, in a 2-0 defeat away to Stirling Albion in the SFL Second Division.

Paul scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 5th December, 1998, in a 2-1 win away to Arbroath in the Scottish Cup.

He scored the last of his 5 goals on Saturday, 2nd January, 1999, in a 5-2 win at home to Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 6th February, 1999, in a 1-0 defeat away to East Fife in the SFL Second Division, having appeared as a Jag on 13 occasions.

Paul's club-list included Arbroath, Dundee, Hibernian, Partick Thistle, Exeter City, Raith Rovers, Forfar Athletic, Cove Rangers, Montrose, Peterhead and Tayport.

Bio Extra

Joined Thistle in 1998/99 for a 3-month loan period from Hibs. Added some fire power to the Thistle forward line and during his spell at Firhill he scored 5 times, 4 in the Scottish Cup. He netted one in the First Round, 8 man triumph over Arbroath and followed that up with a hat-trick in the next round against Cowdenbeath. Went on to play for Forfar.
