![]() Paul Vincent McKenzie was born on Tuesday, 22nd September, 1964, in Glasgow. The 5' 10 (11st 0lbs) defender signed for Peter Cormack's Thistle circa August, 1983, having most recently been with Drumchapel Amateurs. Aged 18, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 2nd August, 1983, in a 3-2 friendly defeat away to Stirling Albion. Paul scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 2nd February, 1985, in a 1-0 win at home to Kilmarnock in the SFL First Division. He scored the last of his 3 goals on Saturday, 14th September, 1985, in a 2-1 defeat at home to Alloa Athletic in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 12th April, 1986, in a 1-0 win away to Montrose in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 67 occasions. Paul's club-list included Drumchapel Amateurs, Partick Thistle, Ayr United, Albion Rovers, Falkirk, Dumbarton and Hamilton Academical. |
