Paul John Cassidy was born on Tuesday, 18th November, 1986, in Glasgow.

The 5' 11 (10st 7lbs) midfielder signed for Gerry Collins's Thistle on Wednesday, 2nd July, 2003, having most recently been with Partick Thistle Boys Club.

Aged 17, he made his debut appearance on Monday, 12th July, 2004, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Stenhousemuir.

There were no goals for Paul during his spell with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 16th July, 2005, in a 4-0 friendly defeat away to Brechin City, having appeared as a Jag on 4 occasions.

Paul's club-list included Partick Thistle, Stenhousemuir, Glenafton Athletic and Harestanes.

Bio Extra

As a 16-year-old Thistle youth player, Paul made the bench for two Premier League games against Livingston and Aberdeen in 2003. Was involved in two pre-seasons for the first team in 2004 and 2005, but never got beyond that point. Joined Stenhousemuir in 2006, before stepping down to the junior grade with Glenafton in 2006-07. Was last heard of playing amateur football with Harestanes in the early 2010s.
