Patrick scored his only goal for Thistle on Saturday, 21st October, 1916, in a 6-0 win at home to Dumbarton in the Scottish Football League.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 11th November, 1916, in a 3-1 defeat at home to Scottish Junior League Select in a Benefit match, having appeared as a Jag on 5 occasions.

His club-list included Cowie Wanderers, Croy Celtic, Partick Thistle, Bo'ness and King's Park.
