Bio Extra

Signed by Billy Lamont on a free transfer from Airdrie, and played poorly in midfield. When John Lambie arrived at Firhill he stated that free-transfer players from Airdrie were not good enough to play for Thistle. However, when converted to playing sweeper Pat made the manger eat his words. He had just begun to play very well when he left the dub to join the police, and went on to play representative matches for Strathclyde and Scottish police.
