Bio Extra

Signed as competition to Brough, both keepers alternated in the first team. Nelson made a terrible blunder at Cappielow, missing completely his headed clearance outside the penalty are and having to watch as the ball rolled into the net. He played in only a few matches after that game and left Thistle to join Falkirk.
