![]() Murdo Davidson MacLeod was born on Wednesday, 24th September, 1958, in Glasgow. The 5' 9 (12st 4lbs) midfielder signed for Thistle as player / manager on Monday, 14th August, 1995, having most recently been with Dumbarton. Aged 37, he made his playing debut on Saturday, 21st October, 1995, in a 3-0 defeat away to Aberdeen in the SFL Premier Division. There were no goals for Murdo during his spell with Thistle. He played his second and last game for the club on Saturday, 27th July, 1996, in a 1-0 friendly defeat away to Glenavon. Murdo's club-list included Glasgow Amateurs, Dumbarton, Celtic, Borussia Dortmund, Hibernian and Partick Thistle. |
