Michael King was probably born in the 1860s or early 1870s, and is most likely to be Scottish. *

The midfielder first appeared for Thistle as a guest in May, 1894, having most recently been with Abercorn.

He made his first known appearance on Wednesday, 16th May, 1894, in a 6-1 neutral-venue win against Johnstone in the Greenock Charity Cup.

There were no known goals for Michael during his spell with Thistle.

He played his last known game for the club on Saturday, 19th March, 1898, in a 3-0 friendly win at home to St Mirren, having appeared for the Thistle on at least 6 occasions.

His club-list included Abercorn and Partick Thistle.
