A. Player

probably born in England

McKenna (forename unknown) was probably born in England, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. *

The forward was possibly a guest player for George Easton's Thistle in April, 1911.

He made his only appearance on Tuesday, 25th April, 1911, in a 3-0 defeat away to Celtic in a Benefit match.

There were no goals for McKenna in his one-off appearance for Thistle.

His known club-list included only Partick Thistle.

We don't know where or when McKenna died. *

Historian's note: HA lists this player as W. McKenna (Queen's Park) but he (presumably William McKenna) was a goalkeeper so that seems improbable. The DR report (26.04.1911) of his one appearance noted: "McKenna, who is said to hail from Liverpool, made a very fair show on the right, his centring being in advance of the other extreme forward."
