| McCulloch |
McCulloch (forename unknown) was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward was possibly a guest player for George Easton's Thistle in April, 1910. He made his only appearance on Monday, 18th April, 1910, in a 1-1 draw at home to Celtic in a Benefit match. There were no goals for McCulloch in his one-off appearance for Thistle. His known club-list included only Partick Thistle. We don't know where or when McCulloch died. *

![]() We have this mystery left-winger down as having played in just one benefit match in April 1910, but there may be more, given there are gaps in some of our friendly line-ups from that period. His only known appearance was in Willie Howden's benefit match, a 1-1 Firhill draw with Celtic in April 1910. It should be noted that he was named "Dunlop" (in inverted commas) in the Glasgow Herald for that game, such was the way of it for trialist psuedonyms of the day. We rather think the Daily Record may have been using the right names, given their extra descriptions for other trialists that evening. |
