Mathieu Bochu was born on Saturday, 31st March, 1979, in Arras, Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

The 5' 9½ (11st 3lbs) forward joined John Lambie's Thistle for a trial period in July, 2001, having most recently been with Sedan.

Aged 22, he made his debut appearance on Wednesday, 25th July, 2001, in a 1-1 friendly draw at home to Blackpool.

There were no goals for Mathieu during his spell with Thistle.

He played his second and last game for the club on Saturday, 28th July, 2001, in a 1-0 friendly defeat at home to Notts County.

Mathieu's club-list included Sedan, Partick Thistle, Santarcangelo, Gubbio, Florentia Viola, Ravenna, Pro Vasto, Istres, Brest, Racing de Ferrol, Louhans-Cuiseaux and Martigues.
