Neither side could find a breakthrough at Firhill. Dundee fell further behind Scottish Championship leaders Queen's Park after a goalless draw at Partick Thistle. Both sides failed to create many clear-cut chances throughout the 90 minutes before Danny Mullen spurned an opening for the hosts in stoppage time. With Queen's winning at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Dundee now have a seven-point margin to make up in their final eight games. Thistle, meanwhile, drop to fourth in the table. The draw extends the unbeaten start of manager of Kris Doolan, though, with the Thistle boss yet to taste defeat in his six games in charge.

Probably on the balance of play it's a fair result in terms of neither team really created clear cut chances. We tried to win the game, we changed the shape, we go to two up front which I think helped us. I felt as if they were dominating the wide areas a bit too much as we were starting to tire, so a quick change of shape which allowed us to play a bit more central using two strikers, and we almost got a goal at the end. I'm happy in terms of attitude again, it's another clean-sheet, it keeps the momentum going and it's on to the next game now.
