Thistle had to come from behind for a point. For all their possession they couldn't finish and Morton, who'd already hit the post, took the lead, aided by poor defending (52). Chaplain's pen was saved (68) but Di Giacomo headed in at the near post (74). Poor defending almost threw the point away (90).

Partick Thistle will rue several missed chances, despite extending their unbeaten to run to six games. The home team completely dominated the first half, with Liam Buchanan and John Robertson going close, Mark Roberts missing two great chances. Morton scored on 52 minutes when Iain Russell's angled drive was saved and Jim McAllister smashed in the rebound. Ton keeper David McGurn saved a Scott Chaplain penalty but substitute Paul Di Giacomo nodded home the equaliser.
