Time wasting tactics and fine saves by future-JAG keeper Gallacher couldn't prevent Buchanan scoring from 6 yards (85). It was scant reward.

Partick Thistle striker Liam Buchanan struck a late equaliser at Firhill to extend Dunfermline Athletic's winless run to seven matches. Pars goalkeeper Paul Gallacher produced fine saves to deny Kevin McKinlay, Scott Chaplain and Buchanan. Mark Burchill put the visitors in front on the hour mark, volleying home keeper Jonny Tuffey's parry from 12 yards. Stephen Glass missed a penalty won by Burchill and Thistle capitalised when Buchanan tapped home from close range.
