6th v 2nd was a better display. A good first half saw chances going Thistle's way and Keegan scored (set up by McStay, 40). It was much the same in the second half but the price was paid for not increasing the lead. Dundee scored from the spot (ex-JAG Lyle, 55) then both teams missed chances for the win. Fair result.

Dundee were fortunate to leave Firhill with a share of the points following a good display from Partick Thistle. Thistle dominated throughout and should have edged in front after 34 minutes when Paul Keegan scooped the ball over from 12 yards. The Jags went in front five minutes from the break when Keegan lifted the ball over keeper Craig Samson. However, Marc Twaddle barged into Scott Robertson on 55 minutes and Derek Lyle scored from the penalty spot.
