Thistle had 5 corners in the first 10 minutes then Peterhead scored with their first attack after poor defending by Murray (14). A near post header made it 2-0 (29). Dorrans scored with a spectacular overhead kick (87) but Peterhead restored their 2-goal lead (89). No complaints. Well beaten.

Bobby Linn scored twice in the first half as Peterhead brought Partick Thistle's fine run to an end with an impressive surprise win in Glasgow. Linn forced the opener home from close range following a Martin Wood cross then flicked the second high into the net following a corner. A Jimmy Gibson chip was cleared off the line before Thistle scored through Graham Dorrans' fine overhead kick. But former Thistle midfielder Jamie Buchan fired in Peterhead's third.
