A mistake by Gibson (A) let a poor Rovers side (stranded at the bottom) in for the opener (9). After that it was all Thistle and a 35-yard volley from Ross (A) (41) made it 1-1 at half-time. Oné beat 3 men and scored (60) then substitute McConalogue scored twice on his debut (toe-poke, 80 and a lob 85) to wrap it up.

New signing Steve McConologue scored twice on his debut for Thistle. Raith took a shock lead through Conall Murtagh after nine minutes, before Andy Ross equalised with a 35-yard volley four minutes from the interval. Armand One fired them into a 58th minute the lead with a superb goal, before McConologue was introduced. With 10 minutes left, McConologue coolly drove into the net for the third, before sealing the win with a lob five minutes later.
