A very poor game all round but at least it was a clean sheet. Wilkinson blasted over (2) then Escalas had a shot blocked. A Raith effort was kicked off the line. In the second half Dowie and Murray needed stitches to cuts, although Murray came back on. More chances came and went and it finished goalless.

Raith were frustrated by Partick as they had to settle for a goalless draw after a poor game at Stark's Park. Thistle survived a real scare two minutes from half-time when first Shaun Dennis and then Herve Ebanda had efforts blocked on the goal-line. The Jags stepped up the pressure in the second half with top scorer Juan Ramón the main danger. At the other end, Hamed Sacko saw his volley at full stretch go straight to Thistle keeper Kenny Arthur.
