The Little Report Ayr took the lead (2) but 2 mins later a fine run by Lyons set up Hetherston for 1-1. It should have been 2-1 soon after but Thistle faded and Ayr scored (45). Trialist Caesar was hooked (48). Thistle had a lot of the ball in the 2nd half but it took an exquisite chip by Adams (87) to take a point. Marginally hopeful.
