Stirling scored with a hotly disputed pen (4). Spurred on by the injustice, Falkirk took the initiative and scored twice (excellent goal, 31 and gift, 37). The second half deteriorated with foul after foul as bad blood from previous matches rose to the surface. Milne (booked, 89) received a 2nd yellow for dissent after the final whistle.

At FALKIRK, PARTICK THISTLE'S Milne was spoken to by the police after apparently making remarks to Falkirk boss Alex Totten in the Brockville tunnel. FALKIRK recorded a valuable 2-1 win over PARTICK THISTLE in a grudge fight. Stirling put the Jags ahead with a disputed early penalty, but Falkirk's McAllister grabbed two before the break to seal the win. The match turned sour after the final whistle when Milne apparently had words with Totten. Afterwards, McAllister said: “The lads were baffled by the penalty award but played with spirit and character to get a great result.”
