Airdrie scored in 11 secs and Moss headed off the line as Thistle struggled. A neat build up set up Adams (30) but after that there were few chances. It was not for the faint-hearted and there was precious little skill on offer. Docherty later visited the Infirmary for a rib x-ray and Adams had a cut eye stitched.
