1st match at Forthbank. Lyons headed in an Evans cross (10), Maskrey hit the post with a volley then a shot through a ruck of players by MacDonald (22) made it 2-0. A header reduced the lead (29). Frustratingly, Thistle couldn't extend the lead but Albion seldom threatened with their limited spells of second half possession.

PARTICK scored a 2-1 win at Stirling. It was Thistle's fourth win in a row and boss Murdo MacLeod said: “This win was just as important as the others. I was pleased with my team's display.” But disappointed Stirling manager Kevin Drinkell was far from delighted. “I wasn't happy with our form,” he fumed.
