JIMMY BONE used to enjoy his afternoon's at his beloved Partick Thistle. Back in the early 70s they lifted him out of the Stirlingshire pits to mould him into an international-class goalscorer. Alas, in this cruel old game, it was back to the pits yesterday for Bone, dispatched by his former favourites. Jimmy, two games into his new career as manager of East Fife, was left reeling as Thistle, who have netted a mere seven goals in eight previous league matches this season, hit six in one game. It was smiles all the way for ex- Hibs striker Gareth Evans as he got a hat-trick in the 6-0 rout.
