Aberdeen were clearly the better team and restricted Thistle to one attempt (a fine save to deny Shaw) in the 1st half. A free-kick set up the visitors to crash in a loose ball (44) and they doubled the lead (51) with a defence-splitting through ball. There were signs that Thistle were improving however. Farningham and Jamieson went close but the ref abandoned the game (56) as the snow got worse.
